Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Customer Finder("the Service"), operated by Customer Finder ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Customer Finder helps you discover public conversations across third-party platforms (such as Reddit, LinkedIn, X, Hacker News, Quora, and others) by generating search queries and links. The Service does not host or republish content from those platforms; it produces search links that you follow at your own discretion.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method for each billing cycle until you cancel. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes will not affect the current billing cycle.

You may cancel at any time from your customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you retain access until that date.

4. Free Usage

We offer a limited number of free searches per user. Free usage is provided "as is" and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or harassing communications to people identified through the Service.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the Service without our written permission.

6. Third-Party Platforms

Searches generated by the Service link to third-party websites. Those sites have their own terms; we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any platform you visit or interact with.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose during the term of your subscription.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that search results will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if continued provision becomes impractical. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
